Be-Ge Plåtindustri AB was founded in1951 under the name of Oskarshamns Plåtidustri AB. Over the years the company has evolved into a rational industrial manufacturer of sheet metal components in small and medium series Customers are manily in the engineering industry in Scandinavia.

In 2001 the Be-Ge Företagen Group of Companies acquired Oskarshamns Plåtindustri, and in 2008 the name was changed to Be-Ge Plåtindustri AB.
